Our client in Olofström is looking for a quality engineer tasked with improving quality within production concerning incoming components, processes, and working methods. The quality engineer will support the development of presentations related to improvement work.
The Work
Analyze data from all areas related to quality and quality improvements within production, use analyzed data, and set up activities together with other departments that improve working methods, materials, and enhancements.
Hold Quality Councils in case of quality deficiencies within production and drive improvement projects that demonstrate quality improvements in production.
Create instructions that improve working methods in rejection handling and be responsible for the FMEA of the assembly processes.
Responsibilities
Show improvement activities that lead to reduced rejects and customer complaints, drive projects and other activities that lead to reduced rejects and customer complaints.
Act openly and collaborate with all departments within the company, work closely with production, and have full insight into rejection handling.
Initiate a working group in case of quality deficiencies and lead the group to solve problems and follow up on completed activities, drive improvement meetings within production quality. Ensure that the FMEA in assembly is updated and adhered to according to the end customer's procedures.
Qualifications
Technical education with a focus on production technology or equivalent, education in project management. Analytical and interested in quality work. Technically skilled both practically and theoretically, trained and experienced user of FMEA, very proficient in MS Office.
